Tackle Box Large

The original Korda Tackle Box has proven to be very popular amongst carp anglers, but some needed even more space for all their terminal tackle, and that has led to the release of the Tackle Box Large.

The Korda Tackle Box Large includes all of the features which made the original so popular with carp anglers, but with some great new bits added to improve the functionality of it even more, as well as having plenty more storage space as well.

This tackle box has loads of space

Most anglers end up taking too much gear with them every time they go, but if you are going to take more than you need, then at least organise it in a way that means you can still quickly find what you need, and that is especially important with terminal tackle which will be regularly used to construct rigs, or anything else you could find ourself needing multiple times per day whilst carp fishing.

It has a spacious main compartment which can be customised to your own design and depending what you want to put in it, simply by moving around the dividers which come supplied with it – it comes with six small, one medium, and two large dividers, giving lots of scope for customisation of the interior layout.

Some of the walls within the main compartment are permanent though and are there for a specific purpose – for instance the ones which are perfectly positioned to allow the storage of all sorts of hook link spools or packs of the Kamakura hooks.

It is also compatible with the Compac Accessory Boxes, which have transparent lids and can be slotted into the Tackle Box Large as required.

There is also plenty of space for all your rig tools to fit, without impeding closing of the tackle box, and that includes all sorts of baiting needles, scissors, Krimp Tools, Pulla Tools, Bait Drills, and similar.

The Korda Tackle Box Large is secure and built to last

This tackle box has been designed to last for years and to be able to withstand the rigors of regular use on the bank and being stored in the front pocket of your rucksack, or in a carryall, without fear of it breaking, cracking, or accidentally coming.

The Korda Tackle Box Large is made from high impact, shock resistant plastic which is tough and durable, as are all the compartments and dividers within it, and it is finished on the lid with a soft-touch coating.

A nightmare for all anglers is having their tackle box accidentally open and spill the contents everywhere, whether in a bag during transit or on the bank whilst you’re fishing, but the strong magnetic fasteners ensure that can’t happen, but can still be opened easily when you need to get inside it – no more fiddly catches to open with cold fingers.

Storage for smaller items

For smaller items of terminal tackle, which you don’t want to keep in the packets in the main compartment, there is loads of space within the 25 individual compartments that are integrated into the lid.

This means you can store them loose in a compartment that has a flip top lid, which is also transparent so that you can see what the contents are when you are trying to find something.

There are various different sized compartments to handle everything from different types and sizes of swivel through to things such as lead clips, tail rubbers, and Heli-Safe Beads.

Whatever you need when you are tying up a new rig, or changing a hookbait, it will be quickly and easily accessible.

Integrated rig board

The original Tackle Box had a small rig board integrated into it, but this one takes that to another level, with loads of storage space – up to 56 pre-tied rigs will fit on it.

It is just like the rig boards that you will find in our RigSafe boxes, with high density foam and single or double pins (some come supplied with the box) to hold your rigs securely in place.

This rig board features the same machined rig bar that can be found on the RigSafes, which ensures that your hooks remain protected during transit and can’t get accidentally damaged.

For those who are using spinner rigs/Ronnie rigs and prefer to store them without the hook attached, which is how Damian Clarke likes to do it, this rig board incorporates a clever bar at the other end as well – which Damian had added to his own RigSafes – and which will securely hold spinner swivels in place and makes it easy to store booms.

It also has a hi-vis ruler integrated into it, so when you are tying rigs it is easy to see and to get them just the right length.

Rig tying made easy

We’ve all been there when tying a rig and having carefully selected the components you need and having got them out of the packets or compartments, you end up dropping some of them on the floor or losing them in amongst your sleeping bag on your bedchair, before you finish constructing the rig!

So, this Tackle Box has an integrated, removeable rig tray that you can put all these bits in ready to add to the rig as you tie it, and without having to worry about losing or dropping them.
