Hand-picked participants will get the opportunity to compete, learn, and grow alongside some of the most respected names in UK carp fishing including; Danny Fairbrass, Tom Dove and Neil Spooner.

There are some epic Kaizen prizes on the line as well as the chance to have your fishing supported by Korda, Mainline and Carp Porter.

Participants will be challenged to showcase their angling ability, talk tactics with Team Korda, and demonstrate what they know... when it really matters. But it’s not just about winning. It’s about learning, improving, and ultimately catching more carp.

Kontender is Korda's brand new initiative for 13–18 year olds who want to prove themselves in a competitive and fun environment.

Entrants should expect:

• A 24 hour Singles Match taking place on Norton Disney Turner's or Billy's Lake

• Matches to run from mid-day to mid-day

• Korda mentors across both lakes including Carl Smith, Darrell Peck and Tom Maker

• An opportunity to appear in a Korda Vlog on Youtube

• Exclusive Kaizen Prizes plus WIN an all expenses-paid trip to Gigantica for two

It will consist of 2 x 24hr Matches.

12th-13th August - Match 1 (Ages 13-15)

13th - 14th August - Match 2 (Ages 16-18)

Please note: Participants are required to bring a minimum standard carp fishing set up (listed below) and will be required to stay overnight.
