NEW RELEASES - Drykore Jacket and Over Trousers MK2, plus a larger Tackle Box.

The latest new product releases from Korda include some exciting additions to our extensive range to make it even better than it was before, as we strive for perfection.

The original Korda Drykore Jacket and Drykore Over Trousers waterproof clothing has proved to be very popular, but we are always looking to improve things, so have brought out a MK2 version featuring even better materials and some new design features to make both items of clothing even better for anglers.

Both the jacket and over trousers are made from a special 20K waterproof and breathable fabric, which will not only keep you dry in any weather, but also helps prevent the wind getting through, whilst still being breathable so that you don’t sweat when wearing them.

The jacket and trousers are totally waterproof and feature taped and sealed seams, as well as a 20K hydrophilic internal membrane to keep any moisture out.

Both are also incredibly lightweight to wear, yet very durable and able to withstand constant use on the bank. The high tech woven material used to make them provides plenty of stretch, meaning that these garments have a tailored ergonomic fit, but which still allows for complete freedom of movement.

They can be worn together or on their own, and are perfect for all year round use when worn over the top of other items of clothing.

There are plenty of clever design features as well to ensure you stay comfortable in any weather, such as the jacket being longer at the back to stop it riding up whilst you’re casting; an adjustable peaked hood with a high collar to keep our draughts; Velcro cuffs to help keep out damp and cold – on the trousers these are designed to be compatible with boots as well; sealed and easily accessible pockets on both; and the trousers have micro fibre knee pads for both comfort and increased durability.

The Korda Drykore Jacket MK2 is available in Dark Kamo or dark olive colours, with the Korda Drykore Over Trousers MK2 coming in dark olive. Both are available in sizes from small to 4XL.

Both of these clothing items would make a great Xmas present, as would another new product which has built on the success of an existing product in our range.

Since its launch the Tackle Box has been incredibly popular, but whilst it had lots of space to securely store all sorts of terminal tackle items, there have been plenty of anglers who have been asking for something with even more space, and so we have brought you the Tackle Box Large.

This tackle box has an incredible amount of space within it to store all sorts of things, including hook link spools, hook boxes and rig tools, plus smaller items loose within the 25 individual flip top compartments in the lid which come in varying size to take everything from lead clips and Heli-Safe Beads down to micro swivels and hook beads. There is also space for things such as Accessory Boxes, Leader Safes, Tubing Boxes, and similar as well.

The bottom half of the Tackle Box can be customised to your own requirements, thanks to removable dividers that allow you to set it up just how you want it.

A totally new addition to it is the integrated rig board, which is of the same design as that found within the RigSafe boxes and will hold up to 56 pre-tied rigs. It features the special machined, grooved bar and recess, to hold your hooks securely in place without risk of damaging the points.

But it also has a brand new design feature as well, and one that up to now has only been found on Damian Clarke’s own customised RigSafes – a special bar that is designed to hold spinner swivels in place, so you can store the rigs without the hooks attached.

Another new feature, and one that will be welcome for anyone who has ever had small rig components fall off of their lap and get lost on the floor, is a removeable rig tying tray. Basically, this small lift out tray has been designed so that you can put all of the components that you need to tie a rig on it and don’t need to keep the tackle box open and balanced on your lap whilst constructing the rig.

Like the original, the Korda Tackle Box Large is constructed from high impact plastic, with a soft touch lid, and magnetic fasteners not only ensure it stays securely shut and with no chance of the contents spilling out in transit, but also make it very easy to open when you want to, even with cold fingers.
