Drykore - Waterproof Clothing Range

The DRYKORE waterproof range is designed for carp fishing. The DRYKORE range includes a Waterproof Jacket, Trousers, and Bedchair Cover. All are original custom designs and have a large number of awesome angling-inspired features. As well as being breathable and having a lightweight outer shell constructed from industry-leading 15K fabric, they are also so extremely light.

Waterproof - The DRYKORE jacket and over-trousers keep you completely dry and will not hinder your activity – whether that be casting, playing fish, or even climbing up a tree. The 15K membrane, which is taped and sealed at the seams, ensures that it is completely waterproof.

Windproof - Whilst designed to be worn over the top of other clothing during the colder months, it also plays a big part in keeping you warm as it is impenetrable to wind, even the strongest gale can’t get through it.

Stretch Fit - As well as being water and wind proof, the high-tech woven material that we have used provides an exceptional stretch-fit, meaning that whilst the jacket and over trousers have been designed to stop rain or wind finding a way in, they also allows you complete freedom of movement and won’t restrict your movement when it comes to fishing.

Drykore Waterproof Jacket

The DRYKORE Jacket has undergone extensive testing to get it just right, you may have even seen Danny and the team in sample versions in our videos over the past two years. It is an original custom design that has been overseen by Danny F throughout the process and has a large number of angling inspired design features.

The neck comes up high enough that it will keep out any draughts, with a soft-touch flap to prevent the zipper from rubbing on your face or chin. The integral hood is adjustable via a toggle at the back, to enable it to fit perfectly over caps, and also to provide a tight enough fit that it won’t keep blowing off your head if it is windy. In addition to that, it features a rigid peak which not only helps it to keep its shape, but also encourages water to run off down the sides, rather than dripping down onto your face.

It is shaped around the waist so that it is longer at the back, meaning that it will still keep you dry when you sit down and stops it riding up. The cuffs are also designed to prevent water from entering, such as when you raise your arms to cast – there is nothing worse than water running down your sleeves! – This is achieved by having Velcro fastenings which ensures a tight fit around your wrists, but which can easily be adjusted for comfort, depending on what you are doing at the time.

The zips are high quality throughout and have been designed to prevent water from getting through either the main zip, or from entering the two large external pockets, which can be used either for storage or to protect your hands from the elements. There are also two internal pockets for valuables – one of which is smaller and perfect for car keys, and the other will easily fit your mobile phone.

Drykore Waterproof Over-Trousers

Made from a breathable, lightweight shell, incorporating a 15k hydrophilic membrane, which is taped and sealed at the seams to ensure that it remains completely waterproof. The use of this lightweight – yet tough and durable - material means that you will hardly even notice that you are wearing them, and the fabric is breathable to help ensure that you don’t sweat whilst you have them on. The material also features ‘mechanical stretch’ which gives an active fit design, such that the DRYKORE Over Trousers fit well to the shape of your lower body, whilst also allowing complete freedom of movement, and without being excessively baggy.

DRYKORE Over Trousers are packed full of useful and well thought out features, such as waterproof zips on each side that extend all the way down to the knee and allow for easy access to the pockets in whichever trousers you are wearing underneath. This eliminates the frustration of getting all your waterproofs on and then struggling to access your car keys or mobile phone which are in your trouser pockets underneath.

These trousers feature adjustable Velcro tabs on the leg openings, so they are easy to put on quickly but can then be fastened securely around whatever waterproof footwear you are wearing – whether that be a pair of walking style boots or wider diameter moon boots – but still allow quick and easy access. To reduce bulkiness around the waist, we have opted for a combination of a quick-release belt with an elasticated waistband, which keep the DRYKORE Over Trousers securely in place and prevents them from falling down yet allows you to take them off quickly and easily when you want to.

Additionally, these trousers also have microfibre knee patches, which not only increase the durability in an area which is prone to wear, but also improve comfort when you are kneeling down on the ground.
