A highlight in Luke Vallory's summers angling. Catching one of the finest mirrors in the country, let alone Cambridge!

Spine tingling scenes from last month, on one of the most atmospheric mornings of the summer to date. A damp, foggy morning descending over Cambridge, the bite coming just on dawn, and what a special one it was.

Fished to a small clear patch, Luke used his simple spinner rig, set up in his normal way, with a Squid pop up over just a few pouchfuls of freebies grouped tightly with the Light Katapult.
