Darrell Peck and Adam Reed try their rigs and tactics in front of the Korda Underwater cameras at Norton Disney.

Carp catching machine Darrell Peck makes his first appearance in front of the Korda underwater cameras, but will his rigs prove to be as successful as he thinks they are?

The Underwater filming at the Embryo Angling Norton Disney complex, in Lincolnshire, yielded so much interesting footage of carp feeding and picking up rigs, that we had to produce a completely separate film called ‘Underwater After Hours’ to bring it all to you.

Darrell was joined on the bank by Adam Reed, with both seeing their set ups live in action for the first time, as carp picked them up, and spat them out, which provided a unique insight into their thoughts of exactly what was going on in the swim, and what they should be doing to not only get more pick ups, but also to increase the percentage that were converted into a hooked fish.

Whilst rigs were of course at the very forefront of their discussions, given the unique opportunity to see how they behave when picked up by a carp, and of course what happens to them if they do get spat out again, but also the importance of different baiting strategies and how much of an impact that can have, and of course different hookbaits and whether that helps to get a quicker bite.

There are laughs aplenty, especially when it comes to Darrell getting done by the carp on multiple occasions as he tries to find ways of improving his hook up ratio, and Tom Dove even makes a cameo role to question whether Darrell’s choice of hookbait is the right one.

Korda Underwater After Hours will not only provide you with well over an hour of entertainment, but will also help you to catch more fish in the future, as you not only get to see how the carp naturally react to rigs and bait, but also have Pecky and Reedy giving their expert opinions on why it is happening and what they could change to improve the efficiency of what they are doing.

Anyone who has already watched the main Underwater film will have seen what a big difference the shot-on-the-hook rig made to Danny’s conversion rate, alongside some of the other tweaks he made, but will it prove to be as successful for Darrell and will he try it rather than sticking to his normal rigs?
