ChodSafe - Chod Rig Storage

With the Chod Rig being so popular and super successful it's paramount that we have a perfect storage system for our pre-tied rigs.

With nothing currently on the market that we were happy with, Korda decided to design something suitable for the job. The ChodSafe is the perfect storage system for any angler who uses Chod Rigs and allows them to be kept in perfect condition until you need them.

Korda Chod Safe has been built to last and prevent spillages

It is built from rugged plastic and finished in soft-touch rubber, with a flip-open lid that is held closed by magnets when not being used, to prevent any chance of spillages.

Inside there are two different foam-covered cylindrical, removable, sections for storing your chods, with the differing diameter of them allowing you to keep the perfect curve to both your short and long rigs.

What did Korda want the ChodSafe to do?

It was important that it held a sufficient amount of Chods, large or small, on a machined grooved aluminium bar, and to hold spare pre-tied leaders in case of cut-offs, to store pins ready for use when adding fresh Chod Rigs and it needed to be able to steam the perfect curve into rigs without any hassle.

Recess handle helps get the perfect shape chods

As well as being able to hold 28 pre-tied chod rigs, there is also space for three Leadcore leaders complete with Heli-Safe Systems. When the cylinder is lifted out of the case, you can pop out a recessed handle, this has been designed to help you to steam the perfect curve into your rigs without burning your fingers.
