When you think of carp barrows, the name Carp Porter instantly springs to mind, and with many of our anglers, including Danny Fairbrass, having used them for years, when the chance to buy the company arose, we jumped at the chance to bring it under the Korda umbrella.

Carp Porter has been specialising in the manufacture of tackle transportation for over 20 years, and its products are still designed–some of which is patented-and manufactured in England, and come with a guarantee, as well as easy access to spare parts if required.

Currently there are eight different models of Carp Porter barrows, plus four motorised versions that come under the Power-Porter banner. So there is something for everyone – whether you’re fishing day sessions and opt for our smallest barrow, the Porter-Lite, or are taking mountains of gear and literally want to transport it around the lake with the touch of a button and minimum physical exertion, opting for the top-of-the-range Xtreme Power-Porter model (available in green or camouflage trim).

MK2 Power Porter

The new 2022 MK2 24v Power Porter with drop in bag has all running gear and electrics.This Power Porter is based on the hugely popular original MK2 porter and has retained all it's excellent features. In addition, we have added a motor and an adjustable speed controller.Turning the MK2 into a power barrow makes shifting heavy loads much easier.

The front wheel and motor detach in seconds for easy storage and ensures the barrow is very compact when packed away.For summer 2022 we have made some important improvements on the previous model. New larger high torque motor for improved power, new upgraded electronics with improved sealed electrics includes: battery, battery charger, bag for battery, motor, vari-speed controller.

Please note if you have an original MK2 it is possible to motorise it with the MK2 PowerPorter kit – Code CPP007.

NB: Optional extras are available for this Power Porter but not included in this package: The Tri-Porter Rear Wheels fit in place of rear legs and the Tri-Porter handles can replace the MK2 handles which can turn the barrow into a fully functioning Tri-Porter.

This amazing 24V Power Porter is designed for anglers that require the ultimate barrow.Designed to draw less current than a normal 12V and give more torque and power on the most demanding terrain.Both batteries are in a single bag and charging is via a plug-in lead; no need to remove batteries. Each electric drive unit is tested by immersion in water and are covered by a full one year guarantee.
