Compac EVA Pouches
A guide to the different sizes of Compac EVA zipped pouches and their uses
The Compac range of EVA pouches is the perfect tackle storage solution for all of your terminal tackle and other kit, and they are also fully compatible with our larger items of Compac luggage.
Ultimate tackle storage
There are seven different sizes of Korda Compac pouches within the EVA Compac luggage range – plus a Compac Organiser - which will cover everything from small items of tackle such as a Carp Care Kit, right the way up to the largest size, which has plenty of room for things such as a Katapult or your Korda Tackle Box, Mini RigSafe, Chod Safe, Zig Box, etc, and will easily accommodate spods and similar. They are also useful as a wash bag, or for storing condiments and sauces for cooking. The Korda Compac EVA range is the ultimate in tackle storage.
Extremely lightweight waterproof material
Each pouch is made from tough, durable, extremely lightweight EVA waterproof material with welded seams, which means that they are waterproof when stood on the ground – the only part that isn’t made from waterproof material is the zip, but unless you happen to drop them in the lake or leave them outside in torrential rain, you aren’t going to get water coming through that anyway. The material makes them easy to wipe clean before putting them away in your carryall, or similar, if they do get muddy.
Instant access
The Korda Compac EVA pouches also have a translucent lid, which allows you to identify what is inside, but still has enough of a tint to it that it will protect things such as monofilament lines and hook link materials from exposure to sunlight. The interior is accessed via a two-way zip, and each zipper has a toggle (complete with Korda glasses logo) to allow for quick and easy opening and closing.
Interior zipped mesh pocket
A handy interior zipped mesh pocket, with a waterproof lining, is located on the inside of the lids of this range of EVA luggage, and has been designed to give instant access to small items, such as your baiting needle, allen keys, or even fishing club membership cards and instruction manuals for any technology you use on the bank.
Compac 150 Tackle Safe Edition
Each of the seven different sizes of extremely lightweight and durable Korda Compac EVA pouches are available in a choice of olive green or Kamo colour. Whilst six of the models are literally a single, open compartment inside, there is also a Compac 150 Tackle Safe Edition. That features a hard plastic tray in the bottom, divided into four sections (ideal for items such as boxes of Kamakura hooks) and there is space for a Tackle Safe on top of this tray – so if you prefer a pouch like this to a tackle box, this is the model for you.
Compatible with Compac luggage
Transporting your Korda Compac EVA Pouches to and from your swim couldn’t be easier as they’ve been designed to be compatible with our Compac luggage, such as the carryalls, whilst offering a neat and handy storage solution – the external pockets on the small or medium model will fit a Compac 125, Compac 110, or two of the Compac 100; whilst the large and X-large models can hold a Compac 140 or two of the Compac 110 (or a mixture of that and the Compac 100). Any larger pouches can easily be fitted inside the carryalls.
Korda Compac Carry Cube
The Compac Carry Cube can also be used to store the smaller sized pouches inside the external pockets and larger ones inside the main compartment, and been designed specifically to accommodate this tackle storage system.
The Compac EVA luggage range
It's all very well having all these different sizes and suggesting what each can be used for, but to really visualise it you need to know the dimensions, and this handy guide below will help to pick the one(s) that is just right for your needs:
COMPAC 100
The smallest Compac EVA luggage pouch in the range and ideal for storing leads, Carp Care Kits, lighters, or any similar sized items. Measures: 12.5cm L x 10.5cm W x 7cm H.
COMPAC 110
Big enough for things such as a Leader Safe, Accessory Box, Kamakura hook boxes, spools of hook link material, or similar. Measures: 18.5cm L x 11.5cm W x 6.5cm H.
COMPAC 125
Ideal for bottles of Goo, EVA spools of zig rigs or even the Zig Box, plus similar sized items such as PVA Funnel Web refills. Measures: 19cm L x 12.5cm W x 7cm H.
COMPAC 140
This Compac EVA luggage mid-sized storage system has enough space for Infuza pots, Krusha, a Tackle Safe, or countless other bits of tackle of a similar size, plus smaller items in the interior zipped mesh pocket Measures: 26.5cm L x 14cm W x 8.5cm H.
COMPAC 150 TACKLE SAFE EDITION
Specially designed to be used in conjunction with a Tackle Safe – which fits neatly on top of the divided trays in the base - and as a storage solution for those that prefer a pouch to a tackle box. The tray will take all sorts of items including Kamakura hook boxes and Korda square hook link spools. Measures: 26cm L x 16cm W x 11cm H.
COMPAC 200
There is loads of room in this Compac EVA pouch for multiple bottles of Goo, pots of pop-ups, condiments and cutlery for cooking, toiletries, and all sorts of other similar sized items that you want to keep organised together in one place. Measures: 27cm L x 19.7cm W x 10cm H.
COMPAC 220
The largest EVA pouch in the range and big enough to hold a Tackle Box or other larger items such as Katapults and marker floats. Measures: 28.5cm L x 20cm W x 12cm H.
COMPAC ORGANISER
If you’re looking for a direct replacement of your tackle box, in the form of an EVA pouch, then there is also a Compac Organiser, which is plenty big enough to larger items such as a PVA Funnel Web System or market floats in the base of it; then it has a lift-out tray that fits neatly on top and which is divided into four sections (via removable dividers) purpose-designed to accommodate items such as our square hook link material spools.
This also has a zipped compartment in the lid, but in this case it is divided into three smaller sections and one large one. So is ideal for any terminal tackle item which comes in packets, such as swivels and tail rubbers, and the larger section is great for things such as Dark Matter Leaders. Unlike the other models, it also features a carrying handle, so you can easily lift it in and out of a carryall or rucksack.
It measures 29.5cm x 17cm x 13cm.
