Compac Rod Holdall

A range of rod holdalls and sleeves to fit, and protect, any type of carp rod

Rod holdalls were a natural extension to our ever-growing range of Compac luggage, which aims to provide a luggage item that is suitable for safely transporting pretty much anything that you could ever want to take fishing with you.

Even more so now that we have our own ranges of Kaizen Platinum and Kaizen Green rods, which will fit perfectly into any of the rod holdalls and allows them to be transported with reels and rigs still attached, so you are ready to cast out as soon as you arrive at your chosen venue.

The ultimate rod holdall - will also hold your landing net; external pockets for bansticks etc; and space for two more additional rods added externally

Whether you own 10ft, 12ft, 12ft 6in (these will fit in a 12ft holdall) or 13ft rods, you will find a holdall that is suitable for them and which will allow you to take the number that you want with you as well – either in the holdall itself or separately in a Compac Padded Rod Sleeve.

Ultimate protection

Having purchased a nice set of carp rods you want to ensure that they stay in as good a condition as possible and will last you for many years to come.

The Korda Compac holdall offers a compact solution for your rods and reels, as well as offering storage via three external pockets along the spine to hold storm rods and similar

Whatever length and size of rod holdall you choose, you can be sure that it will feature plenty of padding to prevent any damage to your rod rings or the carbon blank, as well as making sure that the reels that you have on it are also well protected.

Each rod has its only padded section within the holdall, with Velcro fasteners to keep it from moving around during transit, plus padded dividers to keep it separate from your other rods within the same holdall, and to prevent any potential damage if they bang together.

Water resistant Korda Compac Holdall

All of the Korda Compac Rod Holdalls and Rod Sleeves are made from a water resistant fabric, to help prevent the contents and the padding getting soaked if you do get caught out in the rain whilst transporting your rods to or from your swim.

Made from a durable and water resistant fabric designed to last, fully padded and with a wipe clean lining

This military grade fabric is also very durable and hard wearing, and has been built to last, with the inclusion of a reinforced waterproof base and strong stitching throughout.

The inside of the holdall has a wipe clean lining, so if you do get any mud or similar inside then it is easy to clean.

Easy access and can accommodate big pit reels

The inside of the holdalls and rod sleeves is accessed via a full length heavy duty zip, that has been chosen due to its ability to be able to deal with mud, grit and whatever else it encounters out on the bank.

Full length zip gives easy access to rods and reels - it will easily accommodate big pit reels and 50mm butt rings

The whole holdall opens out flat, giving access to both sides and your rods which are stored in a three-up, two-down configuration (if it is a five rod holdall) in order to save space/reduce the footprint, and are hold in place between the padded dividers via a Velcro strap at each end of the rod.

External pockets

External pockets on the Compac Rod Holdall provide all the storage space that you need for extra items such as banksticks, your Springbow landing net, plus will hold storm poles and even your leads when you remove them from your rods at the end of the session.

Along the spine of the holdall there is a shorter pocket and one that runs almost the whole length of the holdall, plus a small pocket for leads or similar.

There are also two small open pockets at the base of the holdall – one of each side - which the ends of butt and tip sections of spare rods, such as marker and a spod rods, can be located in, with two straps higher up that can be used to secure those rods in place on the outside of the holdall.

External pockets and straps hold extra rods or landing nets in place

Alternatively, a separate Compac Padded Rod Sleeve can also be located in each of these pockets, should you wish to provide extra protection for these externally transported rods.

This means that when you arrive in a swim you can quickly access a rod to have a lead around without having to unload anything from your barrow.

Handles

Even when full, the Korda Compac Rod Holdall is easy to lift in and out of your car, or on and off of a barrow, thanks to padded handles positioned so that they are in just the right place to lift it and ensure that it balances when doing so.

For those who prefer to carry their gear to and from the swim, rather than using a barrow, there is also a removable padded shoulder strap, that can easily be clipped on or off of the holdall as required.

There are also two different versions of this rod holdall that are aimed at those of you who use 10ft rods, with a standard three-rod holdall, plus one that has been specially designed so that it will hold three 10ft rods featuring telescopic butts.
