The Korda Compac Luggage Range

What started out as a few smaller items has evolved into a comprehensive luggage range over several years, and Danny Fairbrass, Damian Clarke, and other members of Team Korda, have been instrumental in the design and testing of all of these products to ensure they meet their own fishing needs, and withstand prolonged use on the bank in all conditions.

Now there is an item of Korda Compac luggage for pretty much anything that you could need on the bank – literally everything from spool cases right the way up to rucksacks and rod holdalls - but each one has been carefully thought out and has a purpose, rather than there being loads of different bags just for the sake of it.

Dark Kamo option

The Compac range is constructed from durable, water-resistant fabric, and all the major items are available in a choice of olive green or Dark Kamo, so that you can have a full matching set of luggage.

All of the larger items which might be stood directly on the ground have a reinforced waterproof base to help ensure that everything inside stays completely dry and doesn’t soak up moisture.

The interior lining is wipe-clean, so if you do get any mud inside, or something spills or leaks, then it is easy to clean.

Built to last

Reinforced carry handles are strategically placed on each item to make it as easy as possible when lifting them in and out of your vehicle; on and off of a barrow; or, in the case of the smaller bags, in and out of a larger item of luggage, such as a Compac Carryall.

The larger items of luggage also feature a padded shoulder strap, should you wish to carry them rather than using a barrow, and this is removeable and can be stored in one of the external pockets when not in use.

Heavy duty zips have been used throughout the range to ensure and that they are able to withstand longer term outdoor use, as well as ensuring easy access to the contents of each bag – where necessary, two-way zips have been used.

How it evolved

The Compac range evolved from an initial offering of a few different sized EVA pouches into a full-blown range of luggage to meet all your storage and transportation needs for your fishing kit.

Over the course of several years, we’ve steadily added new items once we are happy that they exactly meet the needs of anglers–including our own team who test them and are involved in the design, with Danny Fairbrass himself instrumental in the design of some items.

Korda Compac luggage is practical and stylish

The aim is to offer a range of luggage that is first and foremost practical to use, but also which looks stylish on the bank, and which is built to last and withstand being out in all weathers and dragged around on barrows and in and out of your vehicle/garage etc.

The range includes all the items that you would expect to find, such as various sized carryalls, rucksacks, and rod holdalls, plus bags for smaller items and accessories such as a scales pouch, lead bag and the like, as well things such as cool bags/boxes, camera bags and dry bags.

Waterproof material and extremely lightweight

Aside from items like the Cooler (with welded seams) and Dry Bags, the standard luggage is constructed from olive coloured durable and water-resistant fabric, with reinforced waterproof bases where appropriate and wipe-clean lining, along with heavy a heavy duty two way zip that won't let you down.

Packed full of features

The range of luggage has been well thought out to store pretty much anything - whether that be rods and reels; marker floats; hook link material; a Chod Safe, Zig Box; Mini RigSafe; Compac pouches; a baiting needle; or even storing smaller items such as boilie stops!

These will all fit in somewhere, whether that is in the main body of the luggage in the case of larger items; in one of the exterior pockets; or a conveniently placed interior zipped mesh pocket that is great for things like club permits.

Easy to carry and load

The whole purpose of the Compac range is to make transportation as hassle-free as possible, whilst ensuring that your gear stays protected from damage or the elements, and that you can easily access any item when you need it, and know where everything is – for instance the external pockets on the carryalls are the perfect size for our range of Compac EVA Pouches.  

Featuring heavy duty handles in just the right places to enable you to easily pick it up and load/unload it, plus a removable padded shoulder strap (on the items where that is appropriate) that can be used to carry it longer distances if you aren’t using a barrow.

All the items have been designed to fit together where appropriate, such as the pockets on the carryalls being the perfect size to fit various Compac EVA pouches and give instant access (that varies depending on the size of the carryall), and even those pouches themselves have been designed to fit certain smaller items inside, such as the Tackle Box.
