Tackle Box - The Complete Tackle Storage System

The Korda Tackle Box is exactly what the name suggests, a box for storing all of your rig components and similar, but it is also so much more than that and we feel that we have created the ultimate storage solution, that can be infinitely personalised exactly how you want it!

Ultimate end tackle storage system

The Korda Tackle Box was the natural progression from our previous rig and tackle storage systems, which came on a smaller scale and for more specific use, such as the Tackle Safe, and after a lot of work to get it just right, the Tackle Box was born.

Whilst it is the ultimate in terminal tackle storage, it certainly doesn’t replace the various rig storage solutions which we sell and which do a different job to the Tackle Box – it has space for a few rigs, but certainly not to the extent that our other products offer, nor is that its main purpose, but rather to neatly store all the components that you need whilst you are out on the bank.

Innovative and smart way to store rig bits

Once the Tackle Box itself had been designed, complete with moveable dividers to allow you to set it up any way that you wish and so as to accommodate the components that you typically use – such as purpose-designed spools of hook link material that neatly fit into it – the next step was to create a full range of accessories to go with it, to allow you even more freedom to personalise it exactly to your needs.

Compatible with Korda Mini Box and Accessories Box

This included everything from Mini Boxes, with varying numbers of compartments and designed to store smaller terminal tackle items; to Accessory Boxes with removeable dividers and the ability to store a wide variety of different items; to Rig Spools made of EVA foam and the perfect way to keep both zigs and chod rigs in your Tackle Box; or even a Tackle Box Magnet that is designed to keep a few more conventional length rigs stored safely in place on the rig board that is built into the Tackle Box (it comes supplied with one magnet anyway); and even leaders have a place in the Tackle Box, thanks to its ability to take our Leader Safe (although you may need to remove the outer case). There’s even a Compac EVA pouch specially designed to store it in.

You can even purchase a Korda Tackle Box bundle which includes everything you need for your key tackle items and provides plenty of storage space.

Basically, if you’ve got your Tackle Box with you then you should have everything that you need to fish, and stored in a way that you can quickly and easily find exactly what you are looking for.  

KORDA TACKLE BOX

This is more than just another Tackle Box, it is the ultimate in terminal tackle storage and every aspect of it has been carefully thought out. It is larger than any of our other storage systems, such as the Tackle Safe, and is designed for those of you who like to take everything that you might need in one box, and have it stored in an organised way so that you can easily find what you are looking for.

You can customise it to exactly what suits you, thanks to the range of accessories that fit into it. There are 29 compartments built into the lid of the box, with clear plastic flip tops to keep everything secure and allow you to see what is inside, and these can be used to store all sorts of smaller items such as swivels, rig rings, Heli-Safe, shrink tube, or anything of a similar size.

The lid also includes a rig board, complete with a machined, grooved hook retention bar and a magnet to hold your rigs in place, plus a ruler to help when constructing them. The main compartment of the Tackle Box is open and split up into sections, with moveable dividers that allow you to customise it. It comes set up so that our square hook link material spools, Kamakura hook boxes (supplied with the hooks), EVA foam zig spools, and new Leader Safe, will all fit in perfectly, along with other items such as scissors and baiting needles.

This part of the Korda Tackle Box will also take our Mini Compartment Boxes, which have clear flip top lids, and are sold separately in a choice of 6, 8, 9 or 16 compartments, to offer all sorts of different storage options for smaller items.

The Tackle Box is constructed from high impact plastic and is very durable, and closes magnetically to ensure that it can’t come open during transit, and means there are no fasteners to get stuck or wear out. It will fit neatly into a Compac 220 EVA pouch.

KORDA MINI COMPARTMENT BOXES

Mini Compartment Boxes have clear flip top lids, and are sold separately in a choice of 6, 8, 9 or 16 compartments, to offer all sorts of different storage options for smaller items.

The Korda Mini Box is made from high impact plastic and have been designed specifically to fit into the Tackle Box.

KORDA LEADER SAFE

The Leader Safe is a compact way of storing your pre-tied leadcore and Dark Matter leaders, in a way that avoids them becoming damaged or tangled when not in use.

Two different sizes are available – small will hold three leaders, and large can be used to store six leaders – and the leaders are stored on the hard plastic insert which has been designed with slots to hold Hybrid Lead Clips, Heli-Safe Stems, or swivels (depending on what you have attached to the end of the leader), securely in place when not in use, with the rest of the leader wound around the Leader Safe in the corresponding channel.

A clear, hard plastic outer casing means that they can’t come unravelled – although if you are using them in conjunction with the Tackle Box, this case will need to be removed in order for them to fit.

KORDA RIG SPOOLS

These Rig Spools have been designed to store zig rigs and chod rigs, and will neatly fit inside the Korda Tackle Box. They are made from high density foam, so your hook point can be pushed into the spool to hold the rig securely in place, without fear of damaging the point, and the other end is trapped via a pin (12 supplied with each pack)

Each Rig Spool will comfortably hold up to six rigs, and you get two in each pack. The pins come in a canister which neatly fits into the centre of the spools, and as well as being used to hold the pins that it comes supplied with, they are also handy for storing other thing like Hair Stops or pieces of foam for zigs.

KORDA TACKLE BOX MAGNET

The Rig Tray Magnet is a clever little device which is designed to ensure that your rigs stay neatly in place when using the rig tray within our Tackle Box and can’t all end up in a tangled mess. It features a powerful magnet which will remain in place on the metal rig tray during transit, but is easy to remove when required via the ergonomically designed shape which allows it to be easily gripped, even with cold fingers.

It is the same width as the rig board so allows you to maximise storage, can be positioned anywhere you choose and multiple Rig tray magnets can be used if you are storing rigs of varying lengths.
