Kaizen Green Net

The Korda Spring Bow Landing Net has proved to be very popular, thanks to the unique features which make it the ultimate tool for landing carp, but that sort of quality also comes at a price, so we’ve strived to develop a more affordable option, and hence the Kaizen Green Net was born.

Our aim was to try and include as many of the features as possible which make the Spring Bow so good, but at a price point that is far more affordable – especially on venues where you need multiple landing nets, either due to how hectic the action is or the fishery rules – and which would fit in perfectly with our Kaizen Green range of rods, which have been a massive hit with carp anglers around the world.

Reverse taper handle

The Korda Kaizen Green Net features the same design of reverse taper handle that is found on the Spring Bow and utilises an ultra-light carbon fibre.

This ensures that the net handle is very rigid, even when holding it by the end, with the net attached, and this makes it incredibly responsive when you lift it. Being ultra lightweight also makes it easier to lift the net head, with one hand, and helps to ensure swift and precise netting of fish.

Stainless steel spike

Once the fish is in the net, you can ensure that there is no chance of it escaping by utilising the stainless steel spike on the end of the handle, which can be pushed into the lakebed or bank to ensure that the net cord remains well above water level.

Your catch stays secure whilst you sort out your weighing gear, camera equipment, and retainer – which is only needed if keeping the fish for a longer period of time, such as until it gets light, as the net mesh is deep enough that a carp will happily sit in it in the margins.

42 inch Hexmesh

The net comes in one size, 42 inch, which should cover most situations in the UK and abroad, and is fitted with a Hexmesh that is shallow enough that it won’t easily get caught up on the lakebed or undergrowth, but is still deep enough to leave a fish resting in it.

This fish-friendly mesh is also very easy to push through the water but is small enough that it is less likely to get caught on fins.

Special moulded spreader block

The 42 inch arms are strong and rigid enough to prevent the net itself from flopping when you try to net a fish, and are easily fitted into a special strong injection moulded spreader block, which has an aluminium insert to ensure durability, making it quick for anyone to assemble or fold down the net as required (such as when putting it into a sling before lifting a carp out of the water).

The spreader block has a special slot in it which a Mini Stow-Lite isotope can be fitted into, making it easy to locate the net at night and also to see exactly where the spreader block is.

Lightweight components and ingenious design

The ingenious design and lightweight components used mean that the net will float on the surface of the water, thus eliminating the need for a net float and also being a big advantage in situations where you are having to wade into the lake to net fish.

You can push the net along the surface in front of you as you walk out into the lake, and don’t have to worry about it sinking, meaning that you can concentrate on playing the fish.

Stylish

As well as being extremely practical, the Kaizen Green Net is also stylish, and is finished in a sleek matt black, with touches of green Korda branding.

It comes complete with a nylon sleeve which is perfect for storing and transporting a wet net in.
