Compac bags for all your cooking gear
The Compac range includes several bags and accessories which are perfect for storing all your cooking gear
Whether you’re just making a hot drink or cooking a full meal, its handy to be able to keep your stove, kettle and pots and pans all together in one place that is easily accessible.
Bags for all your cooking gear
The Compac range includes two bags specifically for this purpose – a Compac Cookware Bag and a Compac Tea Set – and the larger of the two has been designed so that smaller Tea Set bag fits neatly inside it.
So, whether you are making a cuppa for you and your mates, or cooking your dinner, you’ll know where everything is and be able to access it quickly and easily, and it won’t clutter up the rest of your fishing gear.
Water resistant and durable
Both are made using military grade fabrics, which are durable and have been designed to withstand the rigours of regular use out on the bank – the Cookware Bag is constructed from a water resistant fabric with a waterproof base, and the Tea Set is made from EVA to keep moisture out.
Clever design features
They’ve been designed to keep everything as compact as possible, with clever design features such as a zipped flap on the front of the Cookware Bag which is large enough to hold a ‘500’ size gas canister – including one in the Compac Gas Canister Jacket - along with your stove.
There are also various pockets and compartments, in addition to the main area where all your pots, pans, plate, and kettle are stored, so you can organise your cutlery, condiments, and similar, and customise it to however you prefer to store all your cooking gear..
KORDA COMPAC COOKWARE BAG
The Compac Cookware Bag allows you to keep all your cooking gear together in a bag that has been purposely designed to store it all.
It is made from a water resistant fabric along with a waterproof base, with both using military grade fabrics to ensure that they are very durable, and it features heavy duty zips throughout.
There is a large main compartment, which comes with a removeable divider, and is ideal for storing your pots, pans and kettle, plus things such as a Compac Tea Set. A zipped internal pocket is great for teaspoons and other cutlery.
A zipped flap on the front gives easy access to an internal compartment which is just the right size to take a ‘500’ gas canister – including ones in our Compac Gas Canister Jacket - plus smaller stoves.
The two side pockets are large enough to hold spare 500 size gas canisters, sauces and condiments, or anything of a similar size.
It is easy to carry and load in and out of your car/barrow thanks to the reinforced carry handles plus a removable padded shoulder strap.
The main compartment is 16 litres and overall the bag measures 35cm x 27cm x 25cm (the main compartment is 25cm x 25cm x 25cm). Available in olive green or Dark Kamo.
KORDA COMPAC TEA SET
Ever since the Compac range of EVA Pouches first came out, anglers were using them for storing their tea kit, so we designed one specifically for the purpose.
The Korda Compac Tea Set comes in a choice of two different versions – two-piece or three-piece – so you can pick thew right one for your needs, whether you are just making a drink for yourself or a couple of mates as well.
Both comes complete with two or three high quality china mugs, which have a high gloss finish; a large Korda logo on the side, and a handle that has been ergonomically designed to fit perfectly in your hand.
Each set also features two or three – depending on which version you buy – plastic screw top pots which are ideal for storing tea bags, coffee or sugar, and the sealed lids ensure that the contents don’t get damp.
These pots are just the right size to fit neatly inside the mugs to maximise the use of the space inside the bag.
Each Tea Set also comes complete with a black-plated, stainless steel teaspoon which has been laser-etched with the Korda logo.
KORDA COMPAC GAS CANISTER JACKET
The Compac Gas Canister Jacket is one of those things that is simple yet can make a big difference during the colder months.
Gas stoves suffer from the reduced performance in the cold, to the extent that on a frosty winter morning it can be difficult to get your stove going well enough to boil a kettle within a reasonable amount of time.
This Gas Canister Jacket has been designed to insulate your gas canister and help to protect it from the elements, which can greatly improve the performance of your stove.
It is also very useful when you are transporting gas canisters in your luggage, as the water resistant, durable, insulated fabric provides a cushion and stop it clattering against other items in the same bag.
It has outer pockets to store your teaspoons and lighters, so they will always be close to hand when you need them.
It comes in a choice of olive or Dark Kamo colours, and measures 11cm x 11cm x 15cm, and a ‘500’ size gas canister fits inside perfectly, with a hole at the top for the bayonet attachment which screws onto your stove. The zipped base makes it easy to replace empty canisters.
KORDA WINDSHIELD
The wind can making cooking very difficult and means that it takes far longer than it should do, so shielding your stove from it can make a big difference.
The Korda Windshield has been designed specifically for this purpose and fold away neatly and completely flat so that it can easily be stored in your Compac Cookware Bag or similar.
It is manufactured from aluminium with a hard anodised gun smoke finish, along with a laser etched logo, and two different sizes are available to cover any situation from boiling a kettle to cooking a meal.
Once unfolded it can be adjusted to wrap around your stove and is free standing, and it can be used with pretty much any type of stove that you’re likely to be using on the bank, whether that be gas or petrol.
The larger version measures 23cm x 21.5cm (flat) and the small size is 21.5cm x 12cm when packed.
