Compac Cool Bags and Cooler
During the warmer months, or on longer sessions, it is important to keep your bait and food as fresh as possible, if both you and the fish are going to enjoy eating it!
The Compac range of cool bags has evolved such that it now covers any eventuality, from a short trip where you want to keep your milk and sandwiches fresh, or a few drinks cold; right through to bags that are suited for storing larger amounts of bait, or enough food supplies to last you several days, and will even keep things frozen – how long for depends on the outside temperature and how full the bag is.

When picking a Cool Bag or Cooler from the range, it is important to consider how much stuff you are intending to put in it, as the fuller it is, and the less air inside, the longer it will keep the contents cold, or even frozen. So, you might need to consider having different bags, for different length sessions, or amounts of bait or food.

When it comes to keeping bait or food frozen or chilled for as long as possible, the Compac Cooler is the ultimate choice, and comes in either a 14 litre Light Kamo or a 20 litre olive green version.
The Compac Cool Bags are also fully insulated, but not the extent of the Cooler and won’t keep the contents frozen or chilled for as long, but do offer more choice of sizes from small to X-large, and with main compartment capacities from 8 litres to 34 litres. The large and X-large versions have an additional pocket for storing things such as plates, cutlery, or other cooking gear.

There is also a 12 litre Compac Bait Cool Bag, which as the name suggests is aimed at storing bait, either in bags, or in the case of things like boilies, loose within it, and is ideal if you want to tip frozen bait straight into it and to keep it fresh for a few days. Like with any cool bag, the more often you open it, the quicker the contents will thaw out or heat up.
To help keep your bait frozen or chilled, there are also special Compac Cool Packs, which come in two sizes and have been designed to fit into the Cool Bags and Cooler – the medium, large and X-large Cool Bags feature straps to hold them in place, and each comes supplied with two of the correct size of Cool Pack.

So, whatever you are trying to keep chilled or frozen, and however long for, the Compac range has got something that will do the job!
COMPAC COOL BAG
The Compac Cool Bag comes in four different sizes, and is designed to keep the contents chilled and fresh, which make it ideal for either food or bait.
It will also keep the contents frozen for a while – how long depends on the outside temperature and whether or not you use Compac Cool Packs – but not for as long as in the Compac Cooler.

These cool bags are made from the same durable, water-resistant fabric that is used across the Compac luggage range, and comes in a choice of olive green or Dark Kamo – so you can match them to the rest of your gear.
They feature a reinforced carry handle – the large and X-large also have a padded, detachable shoulder strap – and heavy duty zips. On the large and X-large models there is also a zipped front pocket that can be used for storing items such as cooking gear, or things like catapults if you’re using it for bait.

All four bags feature reinforced waterproof bases, to prevent them soaking up moisture from the ground and to prevent them leaking any liquid out (such as from bait that has thawed out). The inner walls are fully insulated to keep the contents chilled or frozen for as long as possible, and are made from wipe-clean material, which makes them easy to clean after your session.
The Cool Bag range is designed to be used in conjunction with our Cool Packs, and the bags feature internal straps to hold two of them in place – the small and medium bags take the standard size Cool Pack, with the XL fitting the large and X-large bags. All of the Cool Bags, except the small size, come supplied with two of the correct size Cool Packs.

Compac Cool Bags come in the following sizes: small, 8 litres, 27cm x 25cm x 12cm; medium, 12 litres, 27cm x 25cm x 18cm; large, 25 litres, 36cm x 33cm x 26cm; X-large, 34 litres, 45cm x 35cm x 25cm.
COMPAC COOLER
The Compac Cooler is the ultimate bait and food storage bag, and has been designed to keep the contents chilled or frozen for as long as possible, with no expense spared on the materials used to do so.

It features closed cell, non-absorbent, insulation which is designed to maintain the internal temperature for as long as possible – whilst it is designed to keep bait and food chilled or frozen, it could also be used to keep food warm if you go and pick up a takeaway!
It is constructed from a tough, wipe clean material, both inside and out, and with a reinforced base to ensure longevity if being placed directly on the ground rather than on a groundsheet.

One of the reasons why the temperature inside a cool bag changes is that cold air is allowed to escape and is replaced by the warmer air from outside of the bag, and this often happens via the zips, so the Compac Cooler is completely air-tight, including the special zip around the top, complete with oversized puller to allow easy access when you need it. This also means it is watertight and the contents can’t leak out.

It is available either in the original 20 litre olive green version, or a 14 litre Light Kamo pattern, both of which take the XL Compac Cool Packs (sold separately) – the internal footprint of both is such that the Cool Packs can be fitted flat inside them.

The Cooler also features heavy duty carry handles for lifting it on and off a barrow, or in and out of your car, plus a detachable, padded shoulder strap should you wish to carry it any distance.
COMPAC BAIT COOL BAG
As the name suggests, this cool bag has been designed specifically for bait – although that isn’t to say you can’t put food and drink in it if you wished to.
It is cylindrical in shape, to allow easy access to loose bait that is tipped into it (the other Compac Cool Bags are more designed for bags of bait), such as boilies, even once you get to bottom of it. Access is via a zipped top, with a zip that goes most of the way around it and which keeps the lid out of the way once it is opened.

It is made from the same durable, lightweight, water-resistant, olive green, material that is used for the other Compac luggage, and features an insulated, wipe-clean lining – not only will it keep your bait frozen or chilled, but it is also easy to clean at the end of the session. A reinforced base ensures longevity and helps prevent wear when it is being placed directly onto the ground.

The lid of the Compac Bait Cool Bag has a heavy duty zip, with strong moulded pullers, and reinforced carry handles make it easy to move around even when full.

It has a 12 litre capacity, and ideally you want to fill it up as much as possible, as the more air inside, the quicker the contents will warm up. The Bait Cool Bag is 25cm in diameter, and 25cm high.
COMPAC COOL PACKS
The Compac Cool Packs are designed to be used with various coolbags from the Compac range, but can be used in any bag or box where ice packs are needed to keep something chilled or frozen.
They come in two sizes – standard and XL – and have been purpose made to fit into straps within the Cool Bags, or lying flat inside the Cooler, and even have holes in them for your fingers to make it easier to remove them without having to tip a bag upside down!

That ensures you are maximising both the space available within the bags, as well as the ability to keep everything at the right temperature for as long as possible.
The Compac Cool Packs should be frozen for 24 hours prior to use, to ensure they remain frozen for as long as possible once you put them in a cool bag.
