Luke is without doubt, one of the most consistent anglers within our team. He continually catches carp from a variety of tricky waters across the country, often making it look easy.

Analysing Luke’s angling, aside from the obvious ‘locating them’ we looked at other key elements to his approach that lead to his success. One thing always remains the same with Luke, and that is, his attention to detail.

All aspects of Luke’s angling, are given his full attention, be that location, baiting or rig tying. Everything is done with care and thought. Rigs are meticulously tied, hooks are studied and hooklinks are neatly straightened. Rigs are tested in the edge to ensure they fall and present perfectly. Nothing is left to chance and when the rods are out, Luke knows that he is sat behind perfectly presented rods.
