How To Cork Hookbaits

Grab yourself your chosen hookbait

We are using an Airball Pop-Up

Get your drill, centralise on your hookbait and start to carefully drill out your bait

We are using a 6mm Drill in this instance.

Continue to core out your bait to the desired depth

Please note, do not go right the way through the bait

Get a matching 6mm size cork stick and start to push into the hole created

You might need to give it a little twist on it's way in

Once pushed all the way in, trim flush with a pair of scissors

Your hookbait should look like this

Mount your bait onto your needle, non-cork side first

Pass your hookbait onto some floss and onto your chosen rig

Pull down to tight, trim floss and then blob with a lighter

You're hookbait will now have additional and maintained bouyancy
