On this special episode of the Korda podcast, we have carp fishing legend Ritchie McDonald and his close friend Damian Clarke; in what will be Simon Pitt’s last time hosting Korda’s Thinking Tackle Podcast.

Ritchie McDonald is a well-known pioneer for relentlessly targeting large carp, and his list of angling accolades is endless. He dominated the headlines in the eighties, as he notably caught Yateley’s North Lake Forty (later named Bazil). Also, he was the first-ever angler to catch a twenty-pounder from Redmire in winter and the first fisherman to catch thirty twenties in a season, and he even became a lake record holder on Ashlea Pool!

The carp fishing compliments continued, as he also held Sally from Savay, conquered Longfield, and caught Jumbo and Heather from Yately in the same week!

In this episode, Damian Clarke joined Ritchie in a show packed with a plethora of emotions, historic highlights, and amusing anecdotes as Ritchie McDonald makes his long-awaited return to carp fishing.
