Ash Bradbury is the owner of Tails Up Baits and runs Ashbury Fisheries in Hatfield Peverel, Essex. He also played an integral part in introducing adjustable zigs into carp fishing, an ingenious and highly efficient method that has proved successful for many anglers.

Following the capture of the Snake Pit fish known as Dippy, Ash decided to dedicate his time towards tackling waters containing larger carp. His angling journey has taken him to Tolpits, where he captured many of the lake’s exclusive residents. Notably, he caught the highly desirable carp known as Plodder on three separate occasions!

Following this, he headed to the Essex Manor, where he famously used adjustable zig rigs for the first time to a devastating effect. This is where Ash caught one of the UK's best-loved carp known as the Annie, at an astonishing 58lbs.

In a highly in-depth and fascinating conversation, Ash shared the thought process behind adjustable zig fishing, how he prefers to tackle small waters. Plus, he disclosed some spine-tingling stories from his past!
