Bev Clifford is the England Ladies Carp Team Captain. Due to her dedication, drive, and determination, she has established herself as one of the most reputable individuals in today’s English carp fishing scene.

As the daughter of Kevin Clifford, the co-founder of Carp-Talk Magazine, Bev has spent her entire life exposed to the eventualities of the angling industry.

She studied marketing and public relations at Hull University. Consequently, she went on to help run Carp-Talk magazine until it ceased publication after 24 years.

Bev also runs the Ladies Carp Academy and is involved with multiple other campaigns and organizations such as This Girl Can, The Angling Trust and Women's Sport Week.

The England Captain was also a syndicate member on Cambridgeshire’s Bundy’s pit, and she has landed carp approaching 40lbs in the UK. This year, Bev has planned to take on a challenge, as she intends to tackle a lake holding a carp to over 60lbs!
