In 2019, Ian Bailey achieved the rare accolade of catching the UK's largest carp, which came from Grenville Lake in Cambridgeshire and weighed a colossal 65lb 12oz. In the same year, he officially became only the third person to catch two different carp over 60lb from the UK.
Ian's insatiable thirst for carp fishing has seen him tally up an extraordinary array of impressive captures across some of the country's leading waters, including Elstow and Monks pit. To date, he has caught 45 English carp over 40lb, from seven different venues.
