Fishing legend Nigel Botherway is host of talkSPORT’S Fisherman’s Blues and a Sunday Times journalist.
He spends his fishing time both in the U.K and around the world, angling for different species of fish, including Carp. Nigel has fished all over the globe, catching some huge specimens up to 500lb.
During his travels he has experienced the delight of landing huge Record-Breaking Catfish, Monster Salmon from Canada, and has fished some of Europe’s top carp waters including; The Orient, Lake Der-Chantecoq and Lake Raduta, Romania.
Notably, he once hooked a fish in one country and landed it in another!
Nigel has appeared on Sky Sport’s Fishing programme, “Tight Lines” on numerous occasions, as a featured angler and as a stand - in presenter. He can be heard A Fisherman's Blues (@talksport) Sunday’s 6:00am.
