Simon Pitt is joined in the podcast studio by Simon Hartop, the co-creator of independent carp fishing journal SUBSURFACE. Simon has been fishing since the early 80’s and caught his first twenty pound carp over 30 years ago. As well as landing numerous large Carp, he also enjoys catching other species of fish.

Over the years he has contributed to various angling magazines and publications and this year he edited the British Carp Study Group’s 50th anniversary book.

Simons versatility in carp fishing is nothing short of impressive, he is just as at home fishing local stretches of the river Thames (where he also works as an Angling Guide) to tackling some of the countries mightiest gravel pits. In this podcast we talk Subsurface, fishing the river thames, catching big uncaught carp and lots in between… including his number 1 single (in the Philippines) with his then band, The Barbs.
