Neil Spooner

Before he joined Korda in 2007, Neil worked in a busy tackle shop which put him right in the front line when it comes to dealing with problems that many anglers experience.

Neil plays a huge part within the Korda family, and as Director of Sales, his workload often means his bank time is limited. Neil is now one of the most recognised and loved faces in carp fishing, and co-presenting Monster Carp has been one of the best experiences of his life.

Neil tries to squeeze in his own angling, away from the cameras, when he can, which is often limited to overnight sessions.

Neil is a great dad and a true family man, always making sure he spends much needed time with his family, whether that's taking them to football training or joining in on sports day, Neil's a figure we can all look up to and admire.

He is an incredibly consistent and versatile angler, fishing a range of venues from busy day tickets to low stocked intimate waters seeking out target fish. No matter where he is fishing though, Neil always has a smile on his face and has time for everyone.
