Tom Stokes

Tom needs no introduction as he is one of the most recognised faces in today's angling scene, cementing himself as one of the best target anglers of his generation.

Working in furniture delivery since he left school, Tom grew a passion for carp angling that saw him fish every weekend well into his 20's, where he spent all his spare time in the Reading area, targeting some of the most elusive carp in the land, notably The Burghfield Common. Tom spent four and a half years in pursuit of this carp, sacrificing everything else in his life with the single minded pursuit of its capture. Finally, on 6th July 2018, Tom landed the mighty Burghfield Common at 53lb 8oz, ending his campaign. Tom then went on to land other significant carp, notably The Baby Black.

Tom documented his extraordinary life on an episode of the Spodcast and upon hearing his story, Danny and Damian were so captivated, they knew they needed Tom working as part of Team Korda. Tom joined Korda full time in autumn 2020 and has become one of the most recognised faces within the industry. Tom works within the marketing team as an angling consultant, helping with filming projects as well as product development.

Tom has a passion for carp angling like no other and his infectious personality can only be admired. We are proud to have him working with us and look forward to documenting his incredible angling journeys.
