Tom Maker

Tom Maker is a carp catching machine, specialising in the day ticket scene, he regularly fishes venues such as Linear Fisheries, Bluebell and Norton Dinsey. Working as a full time angler and also co-founding CineCarp, Tom is a super keen angler, fishing every week of the year.

As well as European trips and UK syndicates, Tom's main focus is on the day ticket waters within the UK, where he is always on watch for which venues are producing, so he can quickly react and capitalise.

For a relatively young angler, Tom has years of experience and is a generation great in his field. He's one of nicest guys you can meet, extremely humble and honest. He has a passion for helping others and is always willing to share advice or tips to help others where he can.

He keeps his angling simple, never veering too far when it comes to rigs, usually using his favoured D Rig or Spinner. Through years of experience, he can read the situation, and is a master at baiting, knowing exactly when or when not to apply more bait. He is super accurate and when he is in the zone, he is a pleasure to watch.
