Simon Scott

Simon Scott aka Mr Carp needs absolutely no introduction. Having been working within the fishing industry for more than twenty years, Simon hosts a wealth of knowledge second to no-one.

He is one of the few people to have caught both Mary and The Burghfield Common, and hosts an impressive album of some of the most prestige and sought after carp in British carp fishing history.

Simon is joint owner of VS Fisheries, and this demanding role sees much of his time spent farming carp year round, to stock in fisheries around the country. He is a loving husband and father, and passionate naturist, with a love of the outdoors.

Simon has been a recognised figure within the industry for decades, and has appeared on fishing films now for over twenty years. Predators, Carp Crew and Thinking Tackle are all projects Simon has worked on and we look forward to sharing an insight into the mind of Simon through the Korda Mindset platform.

Simon is an expert in his field, and his understanding of carp is simply fascinating. His enthusiasm for his craft can only be admired and he has a passion to share his knowledge to others. He is a favourite tutor at Korda Carp Academy and was a lecturer at Sparsholt College. Simon is a highly valued member of Team Korda and one of our longest serving consultants.
