Luke Stevenson has grown to be one of the most recognised faces in big carp angling. Based in Essex, Luke spends his weekends travelling around the south of England, targeting some of the most sought after carp about.
Living in Colchester, Luke is a garage door fitter by trade, but has a passion for his angling that dominates his life. Luke's evenings are often spend prepping kit, boiling seed and speaking to mates excitedly on the phone about all things carpy.
Luke has a growing album of special old carp and when he sets his sight on a target, it doesn't usually take long for him to convert.
Luke is a bundle of life and always up for a giggle. He is a kind and generous bloke, and a valued member of the Mindset team. We firmly believe he is one of the best anglers in the country, and his watercraft and observation are simply incredible. His ability to read a water and adapt to a situation ensure his catch rate always remains high. Favouring a boilie and pop up approach, Luke keeps his tactics simple, tailoring a textbook big fish approach, using match the hatch hook baits on hinges or chods for much of his angling.
