Lauren Stanford

Lauren is one of the future prospects of the angling world, a keen and dedicated young angler who is rising in today's carp fishing scene.

Lauren was the first female angler to be crowned 'Carp Angler of the Year' in 2023, a reward for years of hard work and dedication to our sport. Growing up in the Hertfordshire area, Lauren fished a variety of waters in the Lea Valley, notably the prolific day ticket Berners Hall as well as the notorious Carthegena Syndicate, where she challenged herself against some of the trickiest carp in the country.

Through hard work and determination, Lauren began her own business 'Carp Fishing Socials' allowing her to now work full time within the angling industry. She now runs events for anglers to travel into Europe for social fishing events and as a result, she now spends much of her time living and fishing abroad.

She is an outdoor enthusiast and keen photographer and film maker, supported by brands such as Yeti, Mainline Baits and of course Korda.

We love having Lauren on the team. She is someone that shares our company values and her passion and love for carp fishing is what we admire about her. The future is very bright for Lauren and we are proud to support her in her angling journey.
