Developed through popular demand, our Kompetition Mono is a high-performance monofilament line dyed in a bright fluorescent green, built to deliver exceptional visibility even in the most challenging light conditions.

The fluorescent colouring offers many practical advantages over traditional clear mono. Whether you're playing a fish on a bright sunny day and struggling to spot where your line meets the surface or tracking your lines in the dark following a recast. 

The high visibility colour also proves invaluable when playing a fish in dark or low light conditions, where keeping track of your line angle when fish start to kite is extremely difficult. As the mono enters the water it remains clearly visible, making it simple to trace and distinguish from any other rods you have positioned.

The breaking strain to diameter ratio is outstanding, enabling the use of a strong, abrasion-resistant line even when casting long distances, all while significantly reducing both drag and weight in the process.

In summary, the Kompetition Mono delivers a forgiving, well-balanced performance with relatively low stretch and good sinking properties, making it the ultimate all-rounder.
