If you’re fishing an inline lead over a harder bottom then this is the ideal choice as long as you don’t have to cast a long way. The Inline Pear has great self-hooking qualities due to its weight distribution, and is also one of the most unobtrusive leads, due to the fact it has such a low profile on the lakebed. It is also a good choice when fishing on flowing water, as its shape helps it to hold bottom, and on lakes, once it lands it won’t roll down any slope – such as when casting tight to an island margin where you need your rig to stay where it lands.
